What is My Trainer Online?

My Trainer Online is a 6-week Health & Fitness program that is created specifically for you to be able to reach your health & fitness goals. This is an online program, so we can service anyone who has access to the internet or the cellular network!

All the benefits of having a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost!

Peter Barbour

Peter has spent the last 15 years in the health and fitness industry through helping corporations and individuals achieve their wellness goals. Peter completed his degree in Kinesiology at Memorial University and is currently completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Memorial as well. Peter’s passion for My Trainer Online is driven by the need to bring educated guidance & advice in health and fitness to everyone regardless of geographical location. Everyone deserves the opportunity to have quality knowledge, motivation, and accountability brought to their door step to ensure their personal wellness success!

Matt Locke

Matthew Locke is a Kinesiologist from St. John’s Newfoundland who graduated with a bachelor of science in kinesiology from Memorial University. Matt is a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists (CSEP) and has a certification in Soft Tissue Release (STR) which is a form of myofascial release. Matt has 10 years experience helping people reach their training goals with people from all ages, from teenagers as young as 13 years old to seniors at 72 years of age. He has worked with different athletes as high as the national level, with various rehabilitation patients, and the general population for strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, and weight loss goals.

Joni Barbour

Joni completed her degree in Kinesiology at Memorial University and has over 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry working with people of all walks of life! From taking Canadian Military soldier’s through workouts, to working with individuals who require exercise rehabilitation, Joni has applied her knowledge and motivational skills to result in all her client’s successes. She is the proud mother of two children, Ethan (3yrs) and Whitney (10 months) and enjoys spending as much time with family as possible!

Gavin Osmond

Gavin graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree. He is a Certified Kinesiologist (NLCK) with the Newfoundland and Labrador Kinesiology Association and a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Gavin has had extensive experience dealing with a large range of cliental focusing on areas such as weight loss, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation to name just a few.  A lot of Gavin’s success has come from his personality and overall positive outlook, which in turn helps to motivate and inspire all those who work with and around him. Gavin is passionate about striving to do his best to promote health and wellness, and has always made living a healthy lifestyle a central component if his life.
